Flashback Friday - Neutral Milk Hotel

I still get sad when I realize that Neutral Milk Hotel is no more. For me, NMH was all about founder, writer and lead vocalist Jeff Mangum. It was Mangum's distinctive vocals, as much as the experimental orchestration and instrument choices, that gave NMH their signature sound. There's an abundance of live performance videos available on YouTube, but I chose several of Mangum performing solo. They're of a higher quality, and, as previously stated, for me it's all about his voice.
